The leading gaming operators International Game Technology (IGT) revealed that it has inked a patent cross-licensing deal with Incredible Technologies. The latter is an emerging Class-III gaming developer which is aimed primarily at manufacturing high-quality video-slot, poker and keno content available for contemporary day casino floor.
The Senior Vice President and General Counsel at IGT’s North America Gaming and Interactive division Michael Prescott commented on the new partnership deal, saying that the entire team of the company was very happy with the deal extension. According to Mr. Prescott, the partnership agreement with Incredible Technologies would have a great impact on the innovations brought to Interactive Game Technology.
He also explained that by expanding the top-quality R&D investment and partnering with other game manufacturers IGT would bolster its commitment to protecting intellectual property and encourage industry growth.
Under the terms of the new agreement, Incredible Technologies will be provided with the opportunity to offer gaming content from the IGT portfolio, including some patented game features, in return to which some licensing fees will be paid to IGT.
Currently, IGT is considered as a global leader operating across all channels and regulated segments of the international gaming sector, including social gaming, gaming machines and lotteries. The company is focused on providing its customers only with premium-quality content and is known for making large investments in innovations, new technology, more flexible customers solutions, etc.
Thanks to the fact that the company is partnering with governments and regulators in over 100 countries on a global scale, IGT has an excellent presence in the global regulated markets. Currently, IGT is aimed at consolidating its presence through inking collaboration agreements and joining forces with various companies in order to make its qualitative solutions available to more customers worldwide.
The Vice President of Gaming Sales & Marketing at Incredible Technologies Dan Schrementi also confirmed of the deal, emphasizing on the fact that the high quality of the games presented was the thing responsible for the record growth of the company. Now, according to him, the cross-licensing partnership deal with IGT would allow the company to remain focused on its primary goals and at the same time develop new and innovative features in order to meet the highest expectations of its customers.
Incredible Technologies is based in Chicago, Illinois and specialises in development of digital entertainment products available to gaming operators and individuals. Currently, the company is known as the biggest manufacturer of coin-operated video games on the territory of the US. The brand is also orientated towards enhancing its influence and presence on the global regulated markets, so the partnership agreement with IGT is expected to broaden its presence across new territories and make its products available for a large number of players.
